Open to the public.  No prerequisite. 

This class is a prerequisite for Reiki II and the Medical-Health Intuitive Certification (if you have taken Reiki I from another teacher, I accept that as fulfilling the Reiki I prerequisite for the Medical-Health Intuitive Certification Program.  My Reiki II class is required regardless of whether you took the class from another teacher).

Reiki is a healing energy technique where you place your hands on a body and a gentle, warm energy flows through your hands and into the body.  Reiki is easy to do and can be given to your friends, family, and pets, as well as yourself.  Reiki I training opens the healing channel, that is already within you, through attunements.  You will be guided into a relaxed state using hypnosis techniques.  Specific steps are then taken by the Reiki teacher to open a channel within you for this healing energy to flow.  Attunements may bring about transformative experiences.  Some individuals experience physical cleansings, emotional releases, or psychic awakenings.  And a gentle, loving energy flows through your hands.  You will learn a kidney breathing exercise to increase the Reiki energy.  Learn placement of hands on yourself and others, experience lots of hands-on practice.  Certificate of completion awarded.  Hypnosis used during the class amplifies the Reiki healing energy coming through your hands. 

 

Instructor:  Karen Fox is a Reiki teacher, former Massage Therapist and energy worker, professional psychic, and hypnotherapist.
